Home Adaptations – Solutions for Independent Living An architect who relied on word of mouth to fuel the success of her business for more than 20 years needed to shift direction when the economic downturn brought a drop in business. A new business concept addressed senior and disabled populations, adapting existing homes to improve access. Corporate philosophy, identity, goals and action items for affordable marketing activity were developed.

At Bailey, Haskell and Lalonde, a leading insurance provider in Central New York, management needed a fresh way to market a new insurance product targeted to physicians. A Fork in the Road video was written and produced by JFields Marketing, with assistance from BHL sales staff and video production from Ottovonmo Productions. This fresh approach to marketing a new product in an ‘old’ industry was successful through use of story in an unexpected media.

The Leadership Connection:A Resource Centered on Great Leadership
gweninc president and CEO Gwen Webber McLeod needed help launching The Leadership Connection, a regional resource center offering programs and services to mid-level leaders and executives desiring to gain leadership skills. We worked together to develop a comprehensive marketing plan, then used web based, direct mail and relational marketing tools to get the word out. We leveraged existing memberships to civic and professional organizations, where a variety of low cost marketing tools are available, and created buzz through targeted, word of mouth contact. In addition, a monthly e-newsletter was developed and distributed as a low cost way to build momentum for the new programs offered at the Leadership Connection.

The Syracuse Community Health Center website hadn’t been updated in several years. JFields Marketing completed a thorough review, then collaborated with staff and a web developer to make site changes to more closely reflect the current organization. Data collection, readability and visual images were addressed to update the entire site.

Near Westside Initiative Website production Salt District.com and nearwestsidesyracuse.org Working with a large team of professionals, JFields Marketing acted as project manager for creation of two websites in this not for profit initiative. In 6 months, the team succeeded in developing the core research, writing, design, interactive and web capabilities. Research assistance and content writing were also offered by JFields Marketing. Weekly teleconference meetings facilitated by JFields Marketing helped to keep the team on track and on time.
