About Me
I’ve always been a communications specialist. As a speech pathologist in the 1980′s, I worked with children and adults to help them communicate better. Twenty five years later, JFields Marketing brings my communications focus full circle, where I find myself helping small business owners create and communicate their business message to customers.
Along the way, I’ve been connector, initiator and above all, a communicator. In 1990, I started Mothers’ Day Out with a group of stay-at-home mom friends. Today, MDO is a community linchpin, caring for hundreds of kids and families every year. That’s a good feeling - being part of something that serves the community and continues helping people long after moving on.
Today, I’ve found my niche with JFields Marketing. Collaborating, brainstorming, creating, writing and moving projects from start to finish is more fun than just about anything. At home, our three kids are growing up and out of the nest, straddling the college years. With one out, one in and one yet to go, Jeff and I look forward to the next phase of life where our kids are launched and living their own lives.
In spare moments, I read, dig around in my gardens and cook for appreciative audiences.
